Blooming Dissonance
Inspired by what went on in the world during these past years, I created “Blooming Dissonance”, a piece born during chaos, disruption, hence why the virus is in the centre. My aim was for it not to be necessarily beautiful, but to make people feel something. I am a strong believer that art and technology both have this power: to amaze and to terrify people at the same time, but it’s always through a lens of transmitting emotions. I am drawn to produce outputs that have an impact not only aesthetically but through their messages.

By adding a lot of different colourful artefacts scattered around the central focus, I wanted the piece to feel dynamic, impactful, almost explosive. Overall, I believe the multitude of different objects and textures gives a sort of beauty to the render, metaphorically representing the beauty that’s formed by the contradictions of existence.
