House Walkthrough

After collaborating with one of my teammates on the “Darwin Project” in order to 3D model a house that we can integrate on the settlement, I got the idea of animating a house walkthrough. This is because I felt the need to really show the audience all the little aspects we’ve envisioned in our design.

This is, unfortunately, an unfinished piece, due to a couple of difficulties I’ve encountered when trying to animate the camera movements. For example, I didn’t know how to make the camera slow down in parts of the animation and then go faster in others, in order to have an established pace throughout the whole video.

I also found it quite hard to create a good path the camera could follow to show the house, as, watching from camera view, I could see frames in which the camera showed a blank screen, after having encountered a wall or an object. I would love to expand on my knowledge and techniques in the future in order to finish this project.
